The Lacan Salon is delighted to invite you to LaConference 2011 on March 19, 2011 from 9am to 6pm at the Western Front Society. Find poster attached.
LaConference seeks to create dialogue between academics, clinicians, and community members on the application of Lacanian theory to the arts, contemporary social issues, as well as the specifics of the clinical praxis. LaConference, like the Lacan Salon itself, is open to the public and welcomes all participants interested in the Lacanian field, so please feel free to share this message.
The conference is divided into four sessions: Clinical, Texts, Politics, and Time/Space, featuring papers by the members of the Lacan Salon alongside local and international presenters. To check the detailed program visit www.lacansalon.com
Our keynote speaker is Professor Dany Nobus who will be giving a presentation entitled "Has Psychoanalysis Anything to do with Sexuality?"
